I am writing to inform you about a seminar series on Biological Control that we are organizing. The primary goal of the organizers is to support and showcase junior researchers and professors while fostering the exchange of ideas and collaborations. Recently, they made the decision to expand the scope of topics covered and reach a wider audience beyond our current network. Hence, this email is an invitation to attract individuals from diverse backgrounds with different research focuses and tools, all connected to biological control, in a broad sense (e.g. control of networks).
These seminars typically run for 30 to 45 minutes and take place on Tuesdays once a month on Zoom. Following each talk, there will be a question and discussion session. More information about the seminar series, including how to register for the mailing list and add the sessions to your calendar, can be found on our website: https://researchseminars.org/seminar/Biocontrol.
They would also like to invite you to join their Slack channel, where we regularly share interesting papers and talks, discuss career development opportunities, and explore promising research directions.
The organizers: Christian Cuba Samaniego, Ross Jones, Yili Qian, Jean-Baptiste Lugagne, and Corentin Briat
