Research activity description
This position aims to enhance the research activities of the CNRS and the Heudiasyc laboratory in the fields of robotics, automation, and AI for autonomous systems interacting with humans. Potential research directions include the development of novel control approaches for autonomous vehicles, learning driving situations for adapting to driver preferences and constraints, enhancing human driving capabilities in complex environments to improve safety and facilitate driving. Addressing issues such as the perception and understanding of situations in open and dynamic environments, managing uncertainties, and ensuring the integrity of navigation information, are also major challenges that are relevant for this position.
Candidate’s profile
Prospective candidates must hold a Ph.D. in a relevant field with a strong research profile and substantial experience in the research area. This experience should result in a significant scientific track record in academia or industry.
