The DARES group at Tampere University, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences (ENS), Finland is opening 3 fully funded positions in Dependable Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber-Physical Systems.
𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬
1) Federated learning and trustworthy AI
2) Resilient control and optimization for industrial systems
3) Cybersecurity and resilience of cyber-physical systems
The research is part of ongoing national and EU projects with applications in 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐬, 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲-𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐱𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, and 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐬.
We welcome candidates with a strong background in one or more of the following areas: control systems, machine learning, optimization, cybersecurity, automation, cyber-physical systems, and energy systems.
